Wiora 2024 commodores report
The dust has settled on another WIORA championship. With windy conditions everyone was reminded of safety first, and that reefing lines did exist on the main sails.
Race officer Scorie Walls got the first day off to a great start with IRC sailing 2 Olympic course races, non-spinnaker 2 triangular courses.
Day 2 the wind was much the same.
IRC sailed 2 Olympic course races followed by a third race, with a windward leeward course. Non spinnaker sailed 2 triangular courses.
Day 3 saw racing delayed for 3 hours.
When eventually racing got underway it was a windward leeward, followed by round the cans for both IRC and white sails.
